Hackworth Postpones Fundraiser to Focus on Helping Republicans Win this November
Richlands – Senator Travis Hackworth announced that he would be postponing his fundraiser that was scheduled for October 23rd, stating that it was too close to the election and he did not want attention being moved away from the close state-wide races.
Hackworth is calling for everyone that planned to attend his paintball fundraiser to volunteer and help other Republican candidates, “I would rather everyone that intended on coming out to the paintball fundraiser, put all their efforts towards the state-wide races. If you were going to participate, take that same money and put it towards the Republican ticket. Spend the weekend out knocking doors instead,” Senator Hackworth stated.
“Southwest Virginia is going to be extremely important in these elections coming up. Southwest Virginia can turn the state red. Instead of attending the fundraiser, we need all hands on deck to get out and get as many Republicans out to vote as we possibly can,” Travis Hackworth stated, “This is a close race and the difference could be spending an extra Saturday knocking doors and helping in whatever way possible.”
Senator Hackworth’s previously scheduled October 23rd paintball fundraiser will be postponed until the spring, but will still happen.
