The Mountains of Virginia are some of the most visited mountains in all of America. Despite this, we must fight for VDOT funding for roads that are not maintained by the National Park Service or through federal dollars. Expanses of highways in our region have been ignored for too long! 

 Yearly flooding in our region due to run-off could be mitigated by additional funding sent to our regional VDOT office to clean out ditches and drainage pipes. I am fighting in Richmond to make sure that VDOT takes care of and maintains drainage areas and roads for the 38th district!
